Hi there! I'm Anndei.
I strive to provide the highest level of care I possibly can. I don't see what I do as a job- this is my calling. It is such a privilege to be welcomed into such a vulnerable time and sacred space in people's lives. Because of this, I wear many hats. I am trained and certified as a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, lactation counselor, pediatric sleep consultant, yoga instructor, and after November 2024 will also be a first aid/CPR/AED instructor. My goal is to be able to provide continuity of care throughout your fourth trimester. With my education and experience, I provide families with full spectrum and evidence-based postpartum support.

I work with families as they prepare for birth and throughout the postpartum period (and beyond!). I offer bespoke, in-home services such as overnight support, perinatal yoga, infant care education, and much more. It is my role to provide the information and support you need to become empowered parents. I wear your confidence as a badge of honor. There is nothing more fulfilling than walking alongside you as you come into your own as parents and growing families. Thank you for your interest in my services. I would be honored to be considered as your postpartum care provider.

What is a postpartum doula?
A postpartum doula's role is to support the family physically, educationally, and emotionally through the fourth trimester. Bringing home a baby is a thrilling time, but recovery from birth and adjustment to parenthood is not always easy. As your postpartum doula, it is my duty to provide educated, inclusive, and evidence-based physical and emotional support.

My postpartum doula support comes in many forms including:

Newborn care, allowing parents to rest and recharge
-
Feeding support (breast/chest feeding, formula, and other methods)
-
Educating parents on postpartum recovery and infant care
-
Recognizing and addressing signs of postpartum mood disorders
-
Referrals to other birth and postpartum professionals (medical and non-medical)
-
Household organization and tidying
-
Household restocking and laundry help
-
Light meal and snack prep, grocery restocking
What is a newborn care specialist?
A newborn care specialist (NCS) is a professional that provides specialized and comprehensive support to parents and their newborns in the first months of life. Where a doula specializes in supporting the family, an NCS specializes in newborn care, establishing healthy sleeping and feeding habits. I help identify and implement a schedule that works for your family, adhering to your preferences for your little one's care. As your newborn care specialist, I work with you to ensure your baby's needs are being met, constantly assessing their physical and emotional health.

My newborn care support comes in many forms including:
-
Overnight newborn care, allowing parents a night of uninterrupted rest
-
Gentle, age appropriate sleep conditioning

-

-
Recognizing and addressing conditions such as reflux, allergies, oral ties, and more
-
Referrals to other birth and postpartum professionals (medical and non-medical)
What is a lactation counselor?
A lactation counselor is a trained breast/chestfeeding counselor that works with families from preconception through weaning to educate, encourage, counsel, foster confidence in families that breast/chestfeed. As your lactation counselor, I'm here to advise, encourage, and educate you on your lactation and breast/chest feeding journey. Lactation education is included in all my services.

Lactation support includes:
-
Non-biased focused information, support, guidance, referrals, and education to families
-
Culturally sensitive and adult based education
-
Evidence-based education recommendations for parents
-
Referrals to healthcare professionals when support requires clinical assessment or diagnosis
-
